Using the Amazon Echo / Alexa / AWS trademarks in the submission video and text
Hi
We are preparing our submission (very excited) and want to double-check so we can use Amazon trademarks like Echo, Alexa and AWS in the video, images and text for the submission.
Thanks!

Hey Adam!
In general, yes but I suppose it depends how you are using them. You can definitely show an Echo device because you need to demo your skill working.
Amazon lists some branding and trademark guidelines here: https://developer.amazon.com/docs/alexa-voice-service/marketing-and-branding-guidelines.html#messaging
Let me know if you have more questions!

Hi, just re-read the guidelines, this section got me a bit worried tho
"Do not show children under the age of 13, or that appear to be under the age of 13 (“children”), using Alexa in any marketing materials. While you may show families or children in your marketing materials, children should never be shown interacting with Alexa, and Alexa services should never be portrayed as being directed to or intended for children."

Hey Adam,
It's ok. For this competition, we expect a demo video of your skill and children are allowed to be in the demo video as long as the consent form is attached.
Remember that the skills for kids are newly allowed and only in the US.
