Hey Adva,
Technically, all of the above! For the competition, the judges will be watching the videos to help score so you should clearly demo the functionality and voice interactions.
The video will be on your submission form for the judges and displayed on the competition submission gallery for the public. Can't wait to see what you make!
Best,
Stefanie

Thanks Stefanie! I'm basically wondering if I should make a dry demo of the skill or perk it up a bit?

If by "dry" you mean boring, I'd say perk it up a bit :)

ha. will do. should it play the entire flow of the skill or just snippets? i have about a million paths in my skill

You don't have to show every single path. Snippets should be sufficient. You want a viewer to know what the skill does and what kind of interaction it requires with the user. It should be comprehensive, but it doesn't need to walk through each path to show what it can do. I hope that helped.

Stefanie

Hi Stefanie, there are two different instructions about the video hashtag. should we use
#AmazonAlexaDeveloperShowdown
or #amazonalexaskillchallengekids?
Stef Maccarone Manager • over 8 years ago
Ooh good catch! You can use the #amazonalexaskillchallengekids hashtag.
Where is the first one listed? I'll update that.
Best,
Stefanie

The first hashtag is in the offical rules.
